Education and Business Summit 2023

The SC Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education provides SC schools FREE access to Learning Blade. We feel passionate about increasing student awareness of what it means to be in the STEM/CS/CTE field and broadening student understanding of the careers available to them. Learning Blade resources have proven to increase student interest in high-demand careers while reinforcing academic standards in grades 5-9. Students can use over 400 online lessons in human-centered "Missions" or stories to explore exciting careers. Educators will leave this session with the knowledge to implement Learning Blade with students on and offline. The session includes active participation, a live demo of the resource, as well as a discussion on best practices for classroom lesson integration.
