Explore the new half credit Personal Finance course standard, Managing Personal Finance. There will be a deep dive into key indicators: the importance of taking responsibility for personal finance decisions, applying decision-making skills to make personal finance choices, applying strategies for making informed purchases, the importance of budgeting, analyzing how social media impacts spending, and investigating methods to safeguard financial information. Potential lesson plans will be demonstrated as well as best practices and lots of no cost resources. This session is geared to those on the Personal Finance Track, but open to anyone to attend.
