Digital accessibility standards ensure that students and community members with disabilities or impairments can access, understand, and interact with educational materials in an equitable manner. This session will demonstrate non-technical means that educators can use to tell at a glance whether a website will have any major barriers to accessibility. These methods will also be directly applicable toward assessing the accessibility compliance of any digital documents, tools, or learning platforms the educator may create, use, or share.
