Why are apps like Instagram and TikTok so popular and, let’s admit, addicting? Maybe it helps to understand that influences have tapped into what research has confirmed: the human brain processes images up to 60,000 times fast than words. What if educators harnessed this power when designing materials and resources? Join us for an interactive session that focuses on the components of cutting-edge graphic design from beginning to end. We’ll teach how to plan intentionally and incorporate graphics, fonts, and images in a visually appealing way. While Canva will be the main platform for design, we will share other helpful websites. Our hope is that you’ll leave feeling inspired and equipped to design resources that capture your students’ attention, spark their creativity, and most importantly, support their learning.
