Education and Business Summit 2023

This session will explore the new half credit Personal Finance course standard, Utilizing Banking Services. There will be a deep dive into key indicators including evaluating services offered at various financial institutions, opening and managing checking and savings accounts, the components of a bank statement, reconciling a checking account, fees and incentives that are associated with various types of banking, electronic monetary transition, and modern payment services. Potential lesson plans will be demonstrated as well as best practices and lots of no cost resources. This session is geared to those on the Personal Finance Track, but open to anyone to attend.
