This session will explore the new half credit Personal Finance course standard, Financing Education and Training. There will be a deep dive into key indicators including comparing the cost associated with post-secondary education or training, financial aid, various educational funding options, FAFSA, types of student loans, and investment options for paying for post-secondary education cost. Potential lesson plans will be demonstrated as well as best practices and lots of no cost resources. This session is geared to those on the Personal Finance Track, but open to anyone to attend.
