Our work supports South Carolina’s businesses, its workforce and economic development system, the workers of today and tomorrow, and bridging the gap between LMI and students to aid in making better education and career choices. When it comes to students and careers, the problem is often not the limitation of data, but its excessiveness. Students need help uncovering and making sense of what is possible for them. When we are given the opportunity to show a student what is possible, they start to see prospects. Allowing LMI to work closely with educators (Counselors K-12 and some college-level Career Specialists), supports our mission and serves as an excellent benefit to South Carolina’s future workforce.
