Brian Day is the Director of Learning Experiences and Innovation in the Education Department at SCETV. His professional experience combines his love for teaching, instructional design, and technology. For 11 years, he taught middle and elementary school in rural South Carolina. He has experience teaching a number of subjects, but social studies is his favorite! In 2017, he served on the 2019 South Carolina Social Studies College- and Career- Ready Standards writing committee and created a number of lesson plans for the South Carolina Department of Education, University of South Carolina, South Carolina African American Heritage Foundation, and South Carolina Geographic Alliance.
