Experienced special educator with a drive to create open communication between school, student and family, Cheryl's work undergirds all areas of education. As a local and state employee her focus is set on improving outcomes for all students. Skilled in Communication, Educator/Parent Training, and Community Outreach, Cheryl stays abreast of family and community engagement efforts at the school, state and national levels. Completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Special Education, with Curriculum and Educational Leadership cognates from University of South Carolina, Cheryl is expanding upon almost 30 years of experience and determination to support practitioners across the state.
