Chris Woodlief currently serves Greenville County Schools as the Work-Based Learning Coordinator for Golden Strip Career Center, Hillcrest High School, J.L. Mann High School, and Mauldin High School.  On May 1st, he will jump into the role of Team Lead, and to continue working with the great Work-Based Learning team and the faculty and staff of the new CTE Innovation Center and Fountain Inn High School.

Chris has demonstrated his commitment to the success of Work-Based Learning through building industry partnerships, creating unique opportunities for students to enhance their skillset, and collaborating with his schools to promote internal and external Work-Based Learning experiences.

He has spent over 15 years in the Upstate building relationships with businesses and has worked with students to coach them in achieving their career goals. His diverse experiences in K12 and Higher Education, business and leadership development, and sales and marketing have prepared him to lead our future generations to succeed both personally and professionally.

He has worked in many industries and is a product of Work-Based Learning through being placed in an internship, as a high schooler, working with a local TV station. His life’s mission is to “love what you do, do it with excellence, and serve others well” and that is what drives his desire to develop young men and women to be the best versions of themselves.

Chris has called Greenville his home for almost 16 years. He loves to cook, travel, play sports with his kids, learn and enjoy life. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, two amazing boys, and a beautiful daughter.
