I am Jalacy Green, one of the Health Careers Program Coordinators for Lowcountry Area Health Education Center (LCAHEC). Lowcountry AHEC is one of 4 regionalized AHEC Centers located in South Carolina. As the HCP Coordinator, it is my responsibility to increase the number and diversity of students entering the health professions pathway in South Carolina. After graduating from Colleton County High School, I earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Coastal Carolina University. I also hold a master’s degree in health administration from Capella University, where I graduated with distinction. I seek to provide students and teachers with as many resources, tools and opportunities as I possibly can to help them along their healthcare journey.
