James Cain is the President of the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association which covers NC, SC, VA, GA and TN. He oversees ten committees that encompass eighty-two people in the five states for all promotional and educational efforts of concrete masonry, hardscapes and brick. He is continually active with AIA, CSI and nineteen universities educating students on the benefits and uses of masonry related products. He serves on the NC Masonry Contractors Association Board of Governors that oversees the certification process of masonry contractors. He is the region two champion on the CMU Checkoff program where he serves on both the national programs committee and the regional advisory committee for the future innovation, research and advancement of concrete masonry units. He is active in his church and lives in North Carolina with his wife and son.
