Maintenance Construction Technology Alliance (MCTA) is an 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in 2001 and serves the construction and maintenance industries in South Carolina. MCTA's mission is to provide a quality-trained workforce to meet the needs of the maintenance and construction industries in South Carolina. The Alliance exists to bring forth a closer working relationship among all maintenance and construction industries and related trade associations, and to unite in one voice all stakeholders to increase the quality and number of trained craftspeople.
MCTA is an accredited sponsor with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), which provides national standards, curriculum, and teacher and student credentials. The South Carolina Construction and Manufacturing State Standards are aligned with these national industry standards.
