My name is Jennifer Minichan and I have been in Education for over 30 years as elementary counselor, Program Specialist at the district level with Special Programs, and the last six years as a middle school counselor. I have discovered my passion for working with middle school students. I love helping students find out more about what they are good at, what they are interested in, and developing their leadership potential. I especially love the career guidance area and starting them down their future career path through career exploration, and soft skill development. Thanks to a grant from AMLE, this year we have been able to start a school-based enterprise with students making and selling T-shirts and promotional products through their “ROCK shop” business.
