Dr. Jeremy Searson currently serves as the Chair of South Carolina HOSA. He is the Past-President of the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association(SCATA). He has served as a member of the SCATA Executive team for the last seven years. Searson has also served two years as a member of the MidAtlantic Athletic Trainers Association District Council. He brings over 20 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer and educator. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Baldwin-Wallace University. Then completed his Master’s degree in Exercise Science at Syracuse University. Searson received his Doctoral degree from the University of Alabama. He has served as an Athletic Trainer in a diverse collection of settings including secondary schools, post-secondary schools (Division I, II, and III), the National Football League, industrial settings and in several performing arts settings. Searson currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Health Science Technology Instructor for River Bluff High School in Lexington, SC. In addition to his roles as an athletic trainer and instructor, Searson also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Metropolis Salon. In this capacity he oversees the management of both the human and financial resources of the organization. Searson has worked tirelessly to advocate for the advancement of Athletic Training in the state of South Carolina and throughout the region. He is a firm believer in the role of service leadership in the promotion of all over the benefits to the few.
