Sherri Smith works with the South Carolina Department of Education as the Computer Science Regional Coach for the Upstate of SC. Previously, she was a Business Education Teacher at R. C. Edwards Middle School (Pickens County) for 14 years and is licensed in Business, Marketing, & Computer Technology. Sherri taught high school credit courses that fulfilled the Computer Science graduation requirement.

Sherri has her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, entered education through PACE, and earned a Master’s degree in Education (Instructional Technology). She is also a National Board Certified Teacher – Career & Technical Education (EAYA).
